Concrete

We have extensive experience with concrete foundation construction. Our team excels at massive, complex structural concrete. Examples of this type of construction include industrial equipment foundations, dams and material handling foundations, such as rotary car dump foundations or bottom dump unit train unloading systems.

We also have experience constructing building foundations, isolated column footings, pile caps and supported slabs, including concrete decks for docks and bridges.

Our team has successfully completed numerous projects that vary from 30,000 to 80,000 cubic yards of concrete poured on a fast-track schedule. We have the experience and capability of installing concrete in wet or dry conditions in temperatures ranging from -20° F to over 100° F.

Being multi-disciplined, our team is able to self-perform all site-civil services, including excavation, cofferdams, dewatering, piling and underground utilities. This reduces costs, expedites the schedule and eliminates multiple sub-contractor coordination.

We were the prime contractor responsible for fast-track construction of a new 44-MW hydroelectric powerhouse. The work consisted of pouring 82,000 cubic yards of concrete and placing 8 million pounds of reinforcement steel. We also self-performed all dewatering, construction of the bridge crane and the draft tube steel. The project was constructed in 22 months at a lump sum price.
